I am a north indian, and i love south movies more than Bollywood movies, irrespective of language barrier.
I love the stories in these movies, how they always bring the culture in the movie, how they always connect family angle, and the over-the-top action in these movies(which simply conveys that movies are for fun, entertainment and not to learn any real life lessons). I used to watch Southern movies way before bahubali was created. And i love how the celebrity from southern Bharat are more rooted to our culture and history than any other part of the nation.

Great video. What Telugu cinema did is an achievement not just to Telugu industry but to every regional industry in India. Back in the day, my frnds in New Jersey used to think India was just Bollywood and that is how Bollywood always promoted themselves - they never credited their success as Indian cinema's success.
