I picked up the Amazon Smart Shelf on sale around the holidays. This product uses a scale and wi-fi to sense and automatically re-order products like printer paper, laundry detergent, or paper clips.
The Dash Smart Shelf comes in three sizes (7″x7″, 12″x10″ and 18″x13″), is just 1″ tall, and can be placed under a pile of whatever you commonly run through.
The Smart Shelf can be powered by the included AAA batteries or a micro-USB. It can be placed almost anywhere. The manual recommends temps between 40 and 70 F.
