I was on the road with CDS in the early to mid-2000s on a road show (in the tents). They were amazing. Every aspect, from the quality of the performers (many Olympians), the live band, costumes, lighting, etc. They had trailers they moved with their own fleet of semi-trucks to every location. These served fantastic, delicious, quality food and also served to hold classes to educate some of the children of performers or child performers themselves according to their country's requirements. The chefs that cooked the meals also prepared the VIP (Tapis Rouge) tent food. They were great! The parties on the road were fun! Saw Guy in Boston. It was the best time I had working in my life. But even before that, I saw CDS in Los Angeles during the 1984 Olympics and then in Santa Monica in 1988.

Visiting this place was like visiting Disneyland for me! (Especially tied in with a visit to the Ecole National de Cirque with their AMAZING library of circus resources)
