HOW TO FIND THE BEST RV PARKS

We're Olivia and Nathan 👋🏽
We hope this video helps RV newbies, part-timers, and full-timers get the most out of their RV Park searches and find the best RV Parks! 😃
Nathan shows how he finds and books RV parks (without using Apps!) and what to be clear on to optimize full time life on the road.

There are so many apps out there that people use to help find great RV parks, campgrounds, and RV resorts! Nathan tried campendium and a few other apps and learned this way worked best for him. (looking thru multiple apps can be annoying! lol)

Booking this was is pretty simple but it does require some 'practiced' finesse - being able to know what you want & spot a great park from a not-so-great one.

In this video Nathan takes you through his thought process when researching and what he avoids and what he looks for.

This is just our way, not "the only" way.
Hope this helps RV newbies looking to go full time!

Here's a comment for the algorithm: I watch a lot of these for fun. There's a bunch of "full timer's" out there who come across as experts and they aren't. They provide opinion on topics or just plain incorrect info. You two are rookies and you've done really well. Better in my opinion than those who think they can give advice. At least I agree with most of what you've said and done, but who am I, right? I choose sites almost the same way. I prefer things a little different but that's preference, not right or wrong. Also we're a 45' Class A towing a Tahoe so that's a consideration. Next, Olivia is adorable, and Nathan is a man after my own heart when it comes to food. We've done a lot of Florida because we live here. Looking forward to the western after retirement trip. I liked that for the most part you weren't staying in the park campgrounds as we're too big to fit. Gave us some nice options.
Again, thanks for posting and we enjoyed it very much. Keep it up. For anybody else reading this who cares, this video was spot on. Take it to the bank!

LOVE Harvest Hosts! We're about to do 9 in-a-row next week. Great way to reduce your costs as the expectation is to spend $20/night. To be honest, we spend a lot more...there are some awesome breweries, wineries and farms....oh did I mention COFFEE shops?

Great ingo guys - We will be buying a super C next year and ready to retire and hit the road so we are doing our homework now and trying not to freak out on how to move around the country fluidly and figuring out how to set up reserves on a route - safe travels guys - thank you

Really good info on your process! One more "private" option you might want to add is fairgrounds. We've stayed on some that have really fit the bill for a few nights, have dump sites and most have had ele and water and a few with FHU. Most of the time they have day of availability and sometimes a lot of it. Way to highlight the community aspect of sharing, you guys do such an amazing and entertaining job of getting info out there! Love it!😎

Great tips thanks!
One trick we have done is dropping in to an RV park that we like, but is full. We chat to the people and do a tour ( was it as nice as the pics..) and talk about any availabilities and get our name on the waiting list in hopes they remember us! It has worked once for a month stay that came up :)

We were literally looking at sites at Bend right before we watched this episode! Haha. It’s really hard to find a site there for the summer that doesn’t cost a bunch. We might have waiting to long to find one. But there is plenty of other places in Oregon we are planning on seeing. We live in Aloha, Or. and are going to go all over the state this year.

Great video. We start our full-time travel in April, so your advice is very timely. Cheers!

Thanks for the tips. Most resorts are overpriced. Usually, we try Mom and Pop places because you usually have someone there all the time.

Do you see people your age at RV parks or are they mostly retired-age?
