so i have vegas 16 and i have the audio recording but when i go back and listen to it i cant hear myself talk at all

Thanks so much. My laptop died and when I replaced it with a new desktop I found that Windows Movie Maker was no longer available. Although I did use Vegas for final edits, I did voice overs in movie maker because I found the voice over feature easy to use. Now that I am exclusively using Vegas I am very happy to know that I can in fact do voice overs with this editing suite.

So no one on YouTube has bothered to mention, if you are recording and the mic isn't being picked up, what button can i click on to investigate its properties, if the mic is connected etc. Im not seeing an option and like i said, no one on YouTube has made a video on that yet, just for Vegas 14 and below...not at all frustrating -.-

thanks for your video it was very helpfull but i have one question when im dubbing the movie my voice is recording perfectly as voice over but the music and all background of the original movie nothing to hear because i see when some movies is dubbed but the music and background of movie is mixed with voice over so which setting i have to do
