Splash Mountain was a log flume attraction at Walt Disney World based on the animated sequences of the 1946 Disney classic, "Song of the South" starring the beloved Brer Rabbit, Brer Fox, and Brer Bear characters. Splash Mountain opened at Walt Disney World on October 2, 1992. Unfortunately Walt Disney World's Splash Mountain was closed on January 23, 2023 after 30 years of operation.
