They weren't "gifted" the house, they were allowed to LEASE a CROWN PROPERTY. The property is owned by the Crown. The lease is up, and it will save them paying for a lease they don't even use.

They done nothing but complain about the cottage that was rent free and over £2 million of our taxes paid for it to be renovated . I think Megan thought she was gonna live in the main house and a castle when she married Harry, they are both so ungrateful, it angers me so much as they don’t know how lucky they are . I had to move back with my dad when I separated from my partner as I just can’t afford my own home, I would of been so happy and grateful for the cottage . They are just horrible, ungrateful, selfish people and im glad this has happened. Anyway thought they hate the UK and they are living in US full time
