I have 2 big questions for NASA. 1 why isn't the rover equipped with microscopes that could send back images of what is in the soil samples? 2 why don't they have small rockets to be able to launch samples off mars with tracking devices to be picked up by some sort of retriever and brought back to earth? It seems like these ideas are basic enough and surely must have been thought of. So why are they not using them? They keep us on baited breath with organic compounds, organic molecules, liquid water, could support life. I think they do know the answer if mars has/had life. The real question is why don't they just tell us???

Space Insider, the title of this viewing is totally misleading. You indicated in your title that Perseverance finally found water. This is not true, and misleads the viewer to watch the entire program that should justify the descriptive title.

It is for this reason that I am reporting this channel to YouTube for misleading viewers.

Does everyone just forget what water is made of? If there WAS water on Mars... Where is all the reminents of all the greenery that needs to exist for water to be water?

garbage. there is no water on mars. Moreover, seen you're so keen on manufacturing images of arbitrary content, I have no way to tell which images, if any, are authentic, and which are not.

Gravity on Mars is only about 1/3 that of Earth so it's likely that Martian atmospheric pressure has always been low - too low for liquid water to last long at the surface. Any surface water either evaporated too quickly - especially if it came from volcanoes and was already hot - or froze too quickly for life to form. In addition, as temperature at the surface was low, the rate of chemical reactions would be very slow and not optimal for life.
