How To Wash Your Car Without Touching It | GYEON Foam Pre Wash

16 months ago I found a nice 2012 White Toyota Tacoma with 52k miles. It was a well cared for Fleet Truck. Then a direct hit from Hurricane Ida and our vehicles had to sit outside while my garage would become our “lifeboat” for the next 10 months while our damaged home was being repaired. Moving back into the house made room for our vehicles to get back inside the garage. The white truck took a real beating from the heat, humidity, acid rain, industrial fallout, Saharan Dust, bugs and bird poop etc. It looked like a mildewed “Dalmatian”. It took me 6 days of work but using Josh’s Suggestions, techniques, and product recommendations and it really came out better than I could ever have imagined it. I like seeing videos like this showing the cleaning capabilities along with the foam. I normally clean very dirty semis, agriculture, and construction equipment and would like to see more comparisons on how different soaps break down dirt.

this is how a prewash should be! i watched another channel compare all the ph neutral prewashes like adams and chemical guys vs bilt hamber and they did NOT clean well. not like the bilt hamber, or what you showed the gyeon foam did. thank you for this test and video!

Fantastic video as always. I tried some of this stuff and was impressed, but of course this got me wondering which "Pre Wash" soap could be used as a touchless wash? Would love to see a comparison like you did for all the soaps used in foam cannons. Bilt Hambers many soaps, Wash Chems Pro 50/100, Zep Truck'N'Trailer, Chem X Stars and stripes and any others out there.

could u do a review on wash Chems pro 50 and or chem x stars and stripes? those are both touchless washes that I have seen some other detailers use but no one has done a review as in depth or detailed as the reviews u usually do.

I have a black Nissan 370Z that has had a three-stage polishing and a coating that shows every bit of dirt and contamination on the clearcoat. I've been using this prewash in an Ik 12 pro pump sprayer with a 4% solution in distilled water @ 60 psi. It gives a great layer of foam that does an excellent job of cleaning the surfaces of the car. I do follow up with a hand wash with Gyeon Bathe+ to help maintain the hydrophobicity. The last step, after a garden hose rinse is a distilled water rinse through another pump sprayer and then a blow dry with an Ego electric leaf blower.

Using this routine, I've been able to do maintenance washes for the last 5 years without adding any scratches, spider marks or swirls. Every 6 months I do a decontamination wash with Gyeon Iron on the wheels and lower body panels and then a hand wash with Gyeon Restart. After that, I then reapply a silicon sealant with Optimum's Hyperseal. The car still repels water like mad and I'm very happy with the results. I'm a big fan of Gyeon products because they do work, exactly as advertised.

Got some of this to try based on your video/review. Tried it on my wife's daily driver which is parked outdoors. It's a new car that I applied a graphene coating (Adam's Advanced) to the day it came home from the dealer. This was it's first wash after being outdoors for 3+ weeks and it came out very good. Great foam with your version of the MJCC foam canon. I used DI water for the wash and rinse and didn't dry. I'll be using this every few weeks to keep the car looking nice and do a hand wash every month or so. Thanks!

I throw rinseless over the soap sometimes once it's applied to help not cause any water spots.
