In this episode, I'm fishing for Barramundi in winter around Cape Cleveland, Townsville, North Queensland, Australia. There were plenty of Barramundi around, but it was hard to get them to bite again. I managed to hook 4, and the two I landed (62cm & 69cm) I kept.

Soft plastic lures and fish finders will destroy recreational fishing. Already after 50 years fishing Townsville I can see the lack of fish everywhere there are commercial and recreational fishing.
Sydney has better fishing than Townsville because 20 years ago they banned trawler and cast nets etc. The fishing in Sydney is incredibly where as you go to the Cape for a cod and small barra. with your high tech.
