I remember Susan Collins asserting that Trump would feel chastened by his first impeachment and mend his ways in response to that black mark upon his record.

I also remember Senator Collins fair gushing after meeting one-on-one with Goresuch and again after her tete-a-tete with Kavanaugh.

Now, however, Collins professes to finding herself dismayed by this seeming reversal on Roe by these two boyos whom she praised before and gladly voted to confirm. Thus, I feel compelled to ask, Is Senator Collins so lacking in discernment as to be gulled by two quite transparent confidence artistes, or is she now attempting to run a con upon the American people with this pose of herself as a trusting soul betrayed?

Either choice yields the same conclusion: Susan Collins is unfit for the office she holds.

I have to agree with Christina, we are no longer dealing with the Rep Party of old. It is beyond time the Dems understand that this Rep party is the Retrumplican Party and it will take fire to put out fire. I feel in my gut that it is time for Pelosi, Schumer and Biden to retire and enjoy their grand kids. Let some younger dems who see and understand what is needed in todays world of politics take over. I’m sick & tired of the Dems whimpiness. If new Dems aren’t allowed in, I fear for our country.

Liz, I appreciate how you talk about bodily autonomy for both men and women. Here in Canada abortion rights are solid because of our right to 'security of the person'. It wasn't about privacy, it was about your own physical autonomy.

This trend has to be halted. In the short term install additionel Judges. In the longer term ensure Impartiality and accountability with legislation required. Save democracy now or brace for Autocracy/Kleptocracy.

There are 13 Judicial Districts. They are assigned to the justices. Several have more than 1 district. Expand the court to 13 and have each justice assigned to only 1 district.
