The original with Brandon Lee's performance is so stand alone and iconic it can't be remade or repeated

Coming from someone who loves the original and the comic book unsure how this remake will top the original. Brandon Lee is what made The Crow so special.

The Crow was always similar to batman imo, dark and moody, gritty in part even.
It's a very well made original that imo doesn't need a remake, it was excellent first time round.

I'm a fan as I'm sure you can tell and I can't think of another fan I know, who would bother watching this, we would all rather put on the original.

I'm glad I kept my expectations low on this remake. It seems Hollywood can't get anything right lately.

I knew for a fact that after what Rupert Saunders did with Ghost in the Shell, which was a lifeless copy and paste, he would never risk not going berserk on his next adaptation, it was gonna be bold. Admittedly I’ve always planned to watch the original Crow movie but never did, so I won’t be able to relate to the sentiments shared by others.

Yeah i saw the trailer too. Lol. As i mentioned previous in a post and i think i quoted the original twice. I am hoping the new film is atleast 4 out of 10. It looks like a villian florida joker. Jesus
