If you want to have a digital look but also keep the others maybe make a robot character, I’d make sense that they’d have a consistent expression and could let you experiment with different techniques in the animation. Love the work and keep up bro 👍 :)

Honestly the inconsistencies really match the character's bodies much more than if it were completely consistent as you can see what the bodies there is lots of different deviations and it just makes it feel more natural and fluid. These guys feel more animated especially whenever they have that deviation between expressions, If you look at traditional 2D animation you will see that there are a lot of inconsistencies there too, smear frames different looking proportions even style changes due to artist changes in production give even professional productions a somewhat inconsistent look and honestly I think yours works really well.

I don’t know if you talked about it before (new sub) but could you do videos on the technical aspects of frame rates and FPS and how you plan out how much you move the figure(s) through each frame. There’s a lot of potential content there and I’d love to see more of the technical “nitty gritty” aspects of the fundamentals of stop motion, frame composition, etc.
