How To Sound Design Cinematic Lead Synths (using Vital)

In this sound design tutorial I recreate a very simple but effective lead synth that I've been using in a few of my tracks that seems to be working very well with epic/ cinematic/ trailer-type music.
In this tutorial I'm suing the free soft synth Vital, but as usual it should be possible to recreate this sound with any synthesizer. I'm also using a few Ableton stock plugins for post-processing which can also be easily replaced with stock plugins in other DAWs.
