Hi Tim,

Thank you so much for taking the time to respond!
I might have to do some clarification, I dont know if these 2 things are the same but the medication doesnt usually induce a fullblow panic attack. Its more low grade, a sense of dread and jitteryness and anxious racing thoughts, but without it being a full blow panic attack. This feeling usually last for about 10-12 hours, for as long as the stimulant medication is working pretty much, indeed it does make me feel different and I am hyperaware of it, its hard to ignore and continue on with the things you should do because its so intensly uncomfortable, so your mind is kinda aware of it the whole time the feeling is there.

You said the way to adress it is to remind myself that there is no danger. I agree, I know and I truly think that there is no danger, however there is allot of discomfort which doesnt seem to subside untill I stop or they wear out. This makes me think how am I able to sustain this? Yes I can keep taking them, but they make me unhappy because of the sensations, am I doomed to a productive and functioning life but filled with these sensations into my old age that steal my sense of joy and happyness away, that would not be a life I would look back onto and be happy about. Its resistance I think, resistance and fear of always feeling this way, I dont know how to navigate that, especially with the sensations over time (when taking the meds) become more pronounced and intense week by week.

I came up with sensitized nervous system because of Claire Weekes, who in her method said to take on the anxious challenges but not uncessarily aggravate the nervous system. Thats what prompted my question about letting my system, which is in kinda of burn out mode heal a bit first before tackling this issue.

Sorry for the long rant, thanks and take care.
