Fascinating.. as a former tech director in an Equity summer theatre.. 8 shows in 10 weeks for 4 years burned me out. I still love it. Lovebthe counterweight fly system. Used to run a three pulley dead weight system. That was body building heaven

Wonderful video! I learned quite a bit here from you! It's great to see behind the scenes of these things. Also I spotted a Magic Goes Wrong poster at the side of the building which was cool to see because I really love Mischief Theatre and it was a coincidence that I saw it in this video lol.

Oh man this took me back. Worked for years in the Hall for Cornwall, similar space. I miss all the little weird backstage corridors and ladders and sneaky shortcuts. Our fly system was double purchase though so twice the loading for same load 😢
