How to apply your toner formula for silver hair

‼️The way you apply your toner formula is important

When you are looking to achieve silver results it’s important that you apply on the roots first, starting from the nape of the head and finishing in the front hairline. Once your roots have been applied you can then emulsify through the mids to the ends of the hair.

This application ensures an even result - applying the colour on the roots first will give a shadow root effect😍

You will know the colour is ready when you see violet/lilac colour appear. The yellow tinge means the colour is NOT ready😅 - let the colour sit for 15-20 minutes

The formula I used in this video was #wella 9/16 kp + wella liquid toner pale platinum + 1 inch of gold booster

Not hairdresser, but did get my license years, well decades ago. I do my own bleach and tone, and this is pretty much how I do mine. Always start in the back and roots first. I'll leave it on the roots 10 mins, then pull through mids and ends so they don't overtone. Sometimes, 5 mins is all it takes on mids and ends. Once I start seeing the toner develope (mids, ends), I'll only leave it a few minutes because if I leave too long, I know I'll have purple hair. I've got my hair down to a perfect science. Turns out perfect every time.

I think I’m gonna try this toner with the pale silver blond mixed. One good thing w wella and most toners. If it’s to blue or violet. Just use a dandruff shampoo and or a shampoo w sulfates. It does come off in repeat washing in one shot in the shower. This came out great Gorgeous.

What toner is this ? I use granny lengths toner which is natural and no peroxide.

I have T16 wella charm, I have level 10 blonde, I am going to use 20 developer, I have a grey root about 1/2 inch, can I apply the toner all over or should I avoid the root area?

Okay but how do you find toner?
Because when i look up toner i get purple shampoos, purple/blue masks and purple conditioner and alike but i know for a fact that those arent what people are referring to when they say toner?
Im not really sure what im looking to buy... Help 😢
