So, One Punch Man might be animated by MAPPA...

Recently it has been leaked all over the internet the one punch man season 3 could be animated by MAPPA in the future. Personally, I don't know how to feel about this as it could be a very good anime adaptation like Jujutsu Kaisen. But I also feel like it could not do so well. We'll just have to see in the future

One of the good parts about One Punch man is the simplicity of the art. the 2d style just looks better, especially with the expressions. Making it 3d would ruin that, and having those changes in style would ruin it in my opinion. There are animes that would do good with Mappa, but I don't feel OPM is one of them

I ultimately think it won't be a very noticeable difference. The only reason CGI would look bad is if they use it for the less grand characters like Saitama. But if they incorporate it well, as they seem to be doing with Chainsaw Man, I think it would add a lot. Characters like Orochi fit the CGI style imo.

We got JC Staff on One Punch Man now tho, we're good. But it probably won't be as good as season 1 because Madhouse hired some freelancers from Bones studio, like the great animators. That's why One Punch Man season 1 has one of the peakest animation. But unfortunately, season 3's animations probably won't even be the same as season 1, but so far, JC Staff still has some great animation projects on other animes so we can have hope. Plus, the trailer looks pretty good already anyway

I think one punch man season 3 will be divided in 4 parts bcz how long the chapters and arcs are.
They have to adapt like 120 chapters which is Worth like 50 episodes or something.
The animators will not be seeing their families for 3 years straight
