The Peely and Meowscles being former coworkers crossing over with Wolverine and Sabretooth could be a little nod to the fact that Wolverine and Sabretooth worked together in a C.I.A. squad known as Team X. Obviously now Sabretooth and Wolverine are enemies, but given the season where Peely and Meowscles worked together had two factions (AND one of them is referenced) it's possible it's related to why they're on opposing sides in Fortnite. Or it could just be because the two made the most sense to mix up with these Marvel characters, who knows.
