I like to use mustard seed when cooking for a bit of taste and texture and add Dijon mustard to salad dressings, stir fry and burgers. I didn’t realize all the great health benefits. Thanks!

My husband, an owner operator of steak houses used mustard as a burn treatment. All grill employees get burns every week. My husband kept mustard in the walk-in cooler and when someone would get burned he would immediately apply (cold) mustard over the burn and leave it till it is dry and then reapply as needed. The pain goes away immediately and the skin heals four times faster than burn creams. No scarring with mustard.

It is interesting that germans who are masters of sausages, always serve them with mustard. There are certain food combinations which reflect popular experience. For instance, Hungarians consume lard, with added slices of onions. The original gulash is not soup but a stew, and it is always served with some salad swimming in vinegar. These additions support the digestion, and who knows, what else? Dr. Berg, certainly :).

There’s hardly any curry dish in India that doesn’t start with adding mustard seeds into oil. Thanks for the video.

I suffered for years with extremely painful muscle spasms in my legs, ankles, and feet before I found that swallowing a half teaspoon of mustard would stop the spasms in under a minute. I keep a bottle of mustard on my nightstand along with a bottle of water to rinse my teeth.

I want to share a recipe for my fellow mustard lovers. Mix some curry powder (Jamaican curry is my favorite) with your favorite mustard and generously coat chicken on skewers, kabobs, or just in a pan. Broil or 🤗 You Rule Dr. Berg

Thank you Dr. Berg. I make my own mustard using organic hot mustard powder, ACV, black pepper, turmeric, garlic powder, onion powder and water. Stir the ingredients together and let it sit for a half an hour. Especially yummy when mixed with natto IMO.
