You really do have to play the remaining two Spyro games. In my childhood I've played through the third game a thousand times. I'd love to see the remastered version. The second and third are so much more fun. You can hover, dive in the water, swim, get awesome powerup things, skateboard, play as other characters, shoot cannons at metal sharks, etc. The first one is nothing compared to what you can do in the second and third game.

Zack, just some advice. A general rule, not just for this game, not even just for the next two games, but any game, you need to remember, if you do something and it doesn't work, stop doing it. You tried to headbutt Gnorc 5 times and it wasn't working.

PLEASE continue the series. You're having a hard time in this episode because it's your first playthrough and you're a few weeks out of practice. In the last couple of episodes, I seem to remember you were doing pretty well aside from the occasional hangup. Just keep playing at the rate you were before and it'll get easier.

A couple of tips moving forward: practice using your flamebreath as you end your charge. You'll find thieves easier to catch if you breathe fire at them when they're out of reach of your horns.

I commented this before on one of the previous videos, but in the hopes that it will save you some time - remember that despite what this first game leads you to believe, you will not be able to get everything in one go with Spyro 2. Whereas you could complete each level in its turn if you were simply thorough enough in THIS game, S2 will require you to return to previous levels due to certain platforming mechanics not being available right away.

I remember Parappa the Rapper! I loved that game. This Spyro game is the only PS1 game I managed to complete several times. I have the original version and every once in awhile, I'll play it through for nostalgia. I couldn't justify buying a new platform to play this beautiful updated version, so I'll just reminisce and admire the upgrades through these videos. Thank you.
