In all honesty, most people don't know the difference between animation studios. Only animation and movie nerds do. Most people think Shrek is a Pixar character. Most people think all cgi movies are Pixar.

Questionable information, Spielberg “got" the idea for the logo from Michael Jackson’s Neverland Valley Ranch logo "The Boy In The Crescent Moon" which was created by the American artist Robert Florczak.
The Neverland Valley Ranch logo with the boy on the moon was made some six years before the Dreamworks logo.
