I feel like there should definitely be laws against true crime. It's gotten to the point where the families of victims are frequently being harassed by "fans" that claim to have "solved" stuff after listening to a single podcast or whatever. It's kinda super fucked.

As someone who likes true crime I can say for the majority of creators and watchers this is absolutely horrifying and not at all normal.

I watch true crime by a person who talks about the psychological aspects and humiliates the perpetrators while giving respect to the families of the victims. She talks about the judicial system and will do things that actively take away the power that these losers get from killing. Taking away their voices and giving them embarrassing nicknames, unlike the media. I think if you do it like she does, things are better. I don't think true crime channels are bad, but the way this person here is doing it is pretty gross. Capitalizing/Harassing off the victims/victims families, not the criminals. Not respecting the victims, ego boosting the perpetrators, or being a hybristophilliac 🤢.
