Jim Guthrie released his first cassette over 25 years ago in his hometown of Guelph, ON. He went on to help define Toronto’s musical underground as a solo artist, as a member of Royal City, Human Highway and Islands He’s shared the stage with many artists over the years including Feist, Beck, Arcade Fire, Sufjan Stevens and Owen Pallett. He’s even played a set on Tiny Desk over at the offices of NPR. A resourceful and creative self-taught musician, Guthrie has been nominated for two Juno awards, and has also been recognized with numerous awards for his work in film, TV and video games.His game catalogue includes Sword & Sworcery (iOS, Steam), Soundshapes (PS4), Planet Coaster (Steam), Reigns: Her Majesty (iOS, Steam) Grift Lands (Steam), Below (Xbox One, PS4), Bleak Sword (Apple Arcade).
