Ever since I went into high school I've developed an instinct to look around for places to hide or escape. I'm an adult now. This is normal now.

It’s simple, we care more about greed, profit, and guns than we care about children in this country.

EACH SCHOOL IN AMERICA NEEDS TO HAVE A POLICE OFFICER PRESENT! JUST LIKE GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS ALWAYS HAVE ARMED SECURITY!

Anyone running a school these days has to leave the "IF" mindset, and develop the "When" mindset....and enact defensive countermeasures...

Schools need more security. Pure and simple.

We need better security/officers at schools. The reason the shooter didn’t go to one of the schools, she planned on shooting up was because it had too much security.

America can just have the National Guard at every school guarding..

One things elected officials can do is to stop spreading hate. It creates a society of angry, divided people. While it's the available of guns, it's also true that our social environment affects our behavior.

Who’s going to pay for an officer to sit in every classroom and hallway?

How about you start adding security cameras covering every square inch?!!

trying to change the American gun culture is a waste of time...why not make the school buildings safer???...and what is with the interviewee's eyes?...she can't stay focused!...very disturbing

Why does no one talk about increased security at our schools, trained professionals, providing inside and outside patrols, closed campuses etc

Even if stricker gun controlls were past it a little late. Its like closing the barn door after the cows got out.
And if they did pass them we still have 400 million plus out there to use.
New laws would help but only way to really reduce it is to outlaw assult weapons and large capacity mags. Then how many years to collect them all ...they will not just give them up. Its stupid to think they would

If someone's decides to go on a shooting Rampage you're not going stop it but u can limit the damage.

There has to be an increase in gun control, assault weapons, no or limited background checks is a crazy system. Simple logic more guns more gun problems!

Arm and secure your schools, and they will not be targeted; these people are attacking places with the least resistance.
