I wouldn't mind doing a bit of acting, partly to know what it's like so if I was a writer/director I can better empathise but also I think it's a necessary life skill that I lack. Acting is important for the days when you really can't talk to people for whatever reason, and you do it anyway.
Also I think it will break down intamcy barriers with strangers. Facing fears and all that jazz

You gotta have a good memory, the ability to go through a lot of very boring procedural shit, and the ability to delve deep into character motivations so as to deeply represent...like you know what I mean.
