The car runs great and it's never gone into limp mode. It's thrown some codes but after the car adapts it becomes rare. Plus I have the BT cable to read/clear codes.

Mine rattled also. But only because I didn't install the middle clamp hanger from the stock exhaust. It would usually rattle during a turn from a slow acceleration. There's very little room on one side of the downpipes causing it to rattle. I took mine off because I still had warranty, but now i'm out and time to reinstall!

awesome video!! im about to get a 2009 335i this june and the first thing i want on it is exhaust but im kinda picky. i want an exhaust thats not too loud but still sound aggressive when accelerating also i want to be able to hear the turbo whistle more.any recommendations? please reply :)

I had the JB tune before the Cobb tune came out. Are you asking for a comparison?

Sorry for the miscommunication, I have the JB tune. I've never used Cobb.

It rattles because the DPs flex a little bit. The new exhaust won't prevent rattle. I didn't put on the middle exhaust hanger that's why it rattles.

I need to get a new tune and also have a brace from my old stock exhaust to prevent rattle. I will then reinstall

I have it at 100%. In this video I had it at 75%. It rattled a little bit because I didn't put on the exhaust hanger which prevents it from moving a bit. I'm going to reinstall it. I could care less about rattle.

The dealership can't refuse to service your car even with aftermarket exhaust. I had no problems having mine serviced with my exhaust. It shouldn't affect your warranty either unless it some horrible custom exhaust you fabricated that has broken other oem parts on the car. Turbo tunes however are a different story. Reference *used to work at BMW.*

I bought a VRSF downpipe but my car rattled like crazy once I installed it and as a result, had to re-install and put the stock DP back on. How did you get it not to rattle?

Just curious. So the Cobb tune you have now?? And if so, is it much more reliable?

Just bought a 335i from carmax and i got the extended warranty, but i want this exhaust so bad, just scared they will refuse services if i get this setup :/

I just installed h&r lowering springs on mine, put up a vid of the install and turn out, check it out if you want.
