The Ostara tiny house takes its name from the stable in which it is located near Toulouse.

Its large central bay window offers Nathalie and Sébastien an unparalleled view of their horses, who sometimes approach it with curiosity.

A small detachable awning protects the door from both the rain and the heat of the Toulouse sun.

A small staircase and a terrace made of heat-treated ash were also made by the team.

It is also difficult to miss the large porthole, one metre in diameter, which adorns one of the façades, as well as the small chimney which protrudes above the roof.

The entrance is through the living room, in which there is a large 1.80 meter long sofa, enough to admire the view at will and accommodate a friend for the night!

To the left of the living room is the dining room with the small bookcase, the wood stove and the table which can seat 2 to 3 people.

Finally, a corner staircase with integrated storage provides comfortable access to the upper floor.

To the right of the living room, the two-part kitchen invites you to concoct delicious meals. At the far end is the bathroom, with an 80x80cm shower with an aluminum and glass door, as well as a dry toilet with a shavings compartment and a stamped stainless steel bucket.

description
The Ondine tiny house was designed for Horazio, who will live and work inside.

Horazio being a masseur, it was therefore necessary to design a large lounge area capable of accommodating his massage table and offering a space around it that was sufficiently clear for him to move around.

When not in use, the massage table can be stored in the storage mezzanine above the living room, which could potentially be used as an additional bedroom if necessary.

This floor is accessed by a ladder with oak steps, stored along the wall not far from there.

On the other side is the bedroom. A Japanese-style staircase leads up to it and includes several storage spaces.

In the living room, Horazio wanted to keep a Japanese atmosphere, which corresponds to his current lifestyle, namely tatami mats on the floor and a simple low table around which one can sit to eat or simply have tea.

Three large windows adorn the room. Their height has been calculated so that one can enjoy the landscape whether sitting or standing.

A large wardrobe offers enough space to store all your clothes and more.

A Dickinson wood stove pleasantly heats the tiny house when winter comes.

In the kitchen there is a gas stove and a stainless steel sink, a gas-powered refrigerator and of course the dual-flow CMV.

The bathroom is equipped with a gas water heater with suction cup, a 80x80cm shower and a dry toilet with an inxo bucket and shavings compartment. A small wall-mounted washing machine is also installed above the toilet.

The mezzanine runs the length of the tiny house. The 140x190cm bed is secured by a net stretched from one end of the room to the other.

Finally, a large clothes closet occupies the entire back of the floor.

Hope you will like it!
