I'm on and off with my Verge and will give it another go this week. My ball has all the characteristics you described but is a good controllable ball. Sure can't miss it on the rack, which was one of the reasons I bought it in the first place. Seattle should e a hotbed for bowling with its "Let's stay inside today" weather. I played hockey there for 2+ years and think I saw the sun twice.
