I am a gold participant in fiji and this award has helped me alot....thank you dukes Edinburgh

i am a silver award holder i completed silwer award at 16 and now i am 19.i want to complete my gold award sooner but do i need to have a group to do that.actually i have enough bad and sad experiences from my previous group.they did almost everything to stop me from achieving silver award.I think you guys need to pay more attention on how teachers and group leaders behave.They gave me the hardest year of my life That teacher who is also a silver award holder bullied me.She would hold meetings without me they left me out and i had a very troublesome period.All this happened right before subbmiting our reports and luckily my parents contacted the main office of the country and i was able to obtain the awrad after thousands of troubles.I hope this award doesnt make students competitive and from my experience i think there are some people who do without understanding the real meaning of it (like that teacher)But still i am gratefull i get to know about this programme
