Pointless Peakdistrict 3: Shothouse Spring 26092024
Part of a series of videos where I have a look on an OS map of the Peak District National Park area and then go and have a look at one of the MANY little disconnected areas designated as Access Land. In this second video I have a short look at a blip of pretty pointless Access Land south of Winster village called Shothouse Spring. Surrounded by scrubby woodland, the area is covered in litter and its only redeeming factor really is the little spring that sits in the woodland and after which the area is named.
A lot of these slivers of Access Land are pretty Pointless, but I'm hoping that some I visit will be a genuine surprise to me!
