Took the 1960 Catalina barn find to Cars & Coffee at the M-1 Concourse, in Pontiac Michigan on this July 8th 2017 morning. Hundreds, maybe thousands of cars were there. Took an hour and a half to walk around once, at a quick pace. Lots and lots of cool rides. The VW Bus was a great idea, with sharpies on the wipers for your writing pleasure on the bus! There was a 56 Dodge pick up, with a Super Red Ram, was super cool. Also a couple of Station Wagons... love the old wagons!
The is not to far from where the Catalina rolled off the assembly line at Pontiac Motors, in Pontiac, Mi. back in the day.
This M1 Concourse has garages that anyone with money can buy. They start at $150,000 and up. Some have lofts, patios, and very small living space, for weekend events. This is the 4th phase, with most already sold. Jay Leno and Tim Allen, both have garages here. Bet theres are not the starter $150,000 units!
