The Flathead Valley Conservation District board voted unanimously for a home built in Glacier National Park without a permit be removed.

John and Stacey Ambler built the three-story home in the park without applying for a permit.

That's some nerve thinking Glacier National Park is theirs to do as they wish. Who the heck wants to see that monstrosity when they go to enjoy the beauty the park has to offer.

I live near Glacier Park and visit often - you can clearly see this structure from the Camas Road bridge that crosses McDonald creek as well as from Grist Road - this "house" is a 3-story eye sore positioned right on the banks of McDonald creek - the unmitigated gaul to believe laws do not apply to you and that you can build such a monstrosity right on the banks of a waterway in a national park defies reason.

They are from California, probably narcissist, they probably feel they don’t have time to be bothered with having to get a permit, their time is too valuable to be bothered by that,
