Wow, I like her. She wasn't just agreeing with Bill, she actually pulled him up on stuff. Well done.

The internet should be the Wild West. It’s design to be and no one should play authoritarian on it. Stop coddling everyone from repercussions.

She is very sharp intellectually. Her voice of reason regarding social media is very much needed. The various social media platforms are basically electronically packaged addiction accessible via a touch screen. Despite all of the mishaps, stumbles and data breaches of the social media apparatus, most of us cannot turn away, even temporarily. At the very least, I think we need to be able to toggle on-off our social media addiction. Kara Swisher is on point here.

Her comments on how she has to use Marvel references to get their attention because tech people don't know who Voltaire is, is in my opinion equally as bad as bill Maher's insults to nerds. Wtf.
This video is literally about making 'nerds' look like subhuman beings.

What's ironic is that the insulting towards "nerds" here is insulting a good majority of his own audience. Most nerds are hungry for knowledge and willing to read and do the research, it's not all videogames and anime like a good majority tend to think. Because of that the older generation (a good majority of them) are out of touch with the youth and that includes being out of touch with those of us in our 30s and even 40s. You can't insult people that are trying and wanting to make this country better for the right reasons just because we're into something that's deemed "nerdy."

I hope she comes back and OFTEN. She killed it and he was really put to task. Loved her.

I like how she gets high and mighty to Maher, but says things like “looks like it was designed by 10yr old boys.” and how she uses comics to manipulate them.

No sexist generalizations there.

"I am not going to go down your f**king slide". When serious people curse like no tomorrow, it has a great ring to it.

I like the “weaponize” . Words aren’t weapons. Hurting feelings isn’t a crime.

>"Why don't you need ID to prove who you are to use Facebook and Twitter?"

Regardless of what's posted on social media, it's each person's responsibility to use our critical thinking abilities in order to determine the TRUTH. Take the time to read, watch, and listen to other sites for your information before you form an opinion; it feels so good to be your own person.

Deleted Facebook over a year ago. I don't miss it at all. I recommend it to everyone!

"I'm not going down your fucking slide." EXACTLY. Thank you!

This was easily one of Bill’s most frustrating segments. Requiring an ID to use Facebook or Twitter? Wanting to regulate them and force them to be “responsible” for things that aren’t even illegal? This goes against the very spirit of the internet. Bill & this lady clearly don’t understand the importance of the free flow of information.

It’s up to the consumer to have media literacy. It is not Facebook’s job to censor everything you don’t like. Their only responsibility should be to remove things that are ILLEGAL.

When are people gonna realize that the real problem is corporate behavior allowed by the law and education of business leaders in training. The end result by the pursuit of the end game is always the same, no matter what the product or arena of business. It’s incompatible with meritocratic fairness and human value.
