New book claims Trump spoke with Putin 7 times since leaving office

A new book from veteran journalist Bob Woodward claims former President Donald Trump has had at least seven calls with Russian President Vladimir Putin since leaving office. Woodward's book, "War," also reveals Trump sent Putin a COVID-19 testing kit early on in the pandemic. Scott MacFarlane has more.

I remember when investigative reporters reported news in real time. When the citizens, purported to be served by *journalists*, could digest and act on the information. Not sit on it for years until their book comes out. It's clear which of the notable Woodward & Bernstein team took their duty to journalism seriously. Since the information is now dated it would wise to not reward Bob by buying his book and just check it out of the library if you're interested in reading some history.
