Best Things to do in Ireland | Explore Skellig Michael Island Near Portmagee

Hop aboard for an island adventure as we visit Skellig Michael Island, one of Ireland's most mysterious and beautiful landmarks. Located near the small town of Portmagee, you'll need to venture about 5 hours from the capital city of Dublin to experience this UNESCO world heritage site for yourself!

Although the hike to the top isn't very lengthy, it's a steep and treacherous climb along sheer drops as you ascend 600 stone steps to the ancient monastery ruins that await you near the top.
