Greek Dining - My Big Fat Greek Week! (Recut). Many thanks to the Greek Club and Nostimo Restaurant for their hospitality and great Greek food! With 11 versatile function spaces and a team of hospitality experts, the new-look Greek Club is recognised as one of Brisbane’s leading venues for corporate and private events. From small meetings of 10 to huge lavish events with catering for guests, The Greek Club is the ideal venue for events of all sizes. Located just 2km from the CBD, the venue features sweeping views of Musgrave Park and the Brisbane City skyline and offers both a Greek and Modern Australian menu. Our on-site Nostimo Restaurant ● Bar is open 7 days serving modern Greek cuisine. It is hard to imagine what civilized life would be like today without the influence of ancient Greece... It also is hard to imagine what the world would be like without the geometry of Euclides or Pythagoras, the logic of Aristoteles, the unique architectural style which has influenced architects all over the world, or even the fables of Aesopos known to children around the globe. Let us not forget also the Olympic Games, with their spirit of world-peace and brotherhood, first conceived and organized by the Greeks, or the Greek language which has enriched other languages with so many words and concepts, like philanthropy, harmony, music, techne, sophistication, architecture, ecology, Europe (Europa, sister of Cadmus; carried off to Crete by Zeus) and thousands of others.
