For those wondering, the minigame seems to be a reference to a Japanese schoolyard game. From what I understand, on a count of three, one player points to some direction and if the opponent looks the same way, they lose. You can see the game referenced in a bunch of Japanese works.

Y'know, I kinda miss these older minigames. They were really nonsensical and even surreal at times, but that was just fine. I feel like the newer ones feel the need to hold back on this weirdness. I wanna see those inexplicable floating heads, man!
