It absolutely makes sense! I do this as well. Makes having to replace items that have worn out completely worth replacing if I know I don't need to replace it in a couple of months, rather I'm looking at years.❤😊

I’ve brought my wardrobe down to 40 items not including underwear, undershirts and socks. I’ve gone to the same color t-shirts as well. Makes life so much easier.

I just threw 70% of my stuff (clothes included) and working on getting rid of more. It's a proccess for me.

Is that 400 wears per shirt (total cost $50)? Or 400 wears rotating 10 identical shirts (total cost $500)?

If it’s 400 wears per shirt.. that’s over 10years of wearing & rotating the same 10 shirts.. which I don’t think is the case.

It appears we’re talking about 400 wears of 10 rotating shirts but a cost of only one of the shirts

If I can wear a tshirt 400 days I would pay 50 € for it. I would prefer it over a shirt of €10 that I can wear 80 days.
I doubt the numbers work out that way because I do physical labour. Lots of wear and regular washing

Which is your favorite go-to black shirt brand? I love cotton but it fades quickly.
