Welcome to this English lesson about things that you will find inside of other things. Have you ever noticed that donuts sometimes have a filling? Have you noticed that your chocolate Easter bunny is sometimes hollow? In this free English class we'll go over a number of vocabulary words that you can use when describing things that have other things inside of them.

In this English lesson you'll learn words like: raisin, filling, filament, core, pit, seed, chocolate chip, pearl, battery, lead, ink, bearing, spring, mechanism, and more!

I hope you enjoy this English lesson about things inside of other things!

⌛ Remember: Always watch the video three times. Twice today with English subtitles on, and once tomorrow with the English subtitles off. This will reinforce the English you have learned!

Let me tell you, Mr. Bob…These “vague” topics are yet another example of your creativity and originality which come from you putting yourself in the learner’s shoes and really caring about what might be most useful for them. You see, being unique and creative is one thing, but teaching seemingly random topics that make the learner realize just how much they have needed that knowledge and how long they’ve been waiting for someone to talk about it; in my opinion, that’s the holy grail of teaching. Thank you so much, ingenious Bob. Thank you for your well thought out lessons. I wish I could send you some rain as a reward, but all I can do is hope for it 🤲🏻🌧
For now though, I can reward you with some cookies 🍪🍪🍪
(These are chocolate chips in the cookies, I swear! They are not raisins! I’m really not trying to trick you here!😆)

I was surprised you don't like cheese in the crust of a pizza. Perhaps you should try it with thicker crusts.
Or a thinner sheet of cheese.
