In my footballing analysis of the yesterday game clashed between arsenal vs Manchester United was overshadowed by a penalty decision. That can only described as shockingly poor . The referee choice to blindly reward the penalty, stemming from disgraceful gamesmanship by the arsenal player, was a diabolical lapse of judgement. Such unprofessional conduct by the player, reflects a disregard for the principles of fairness and integrity that define professional footballing. This was not controversial decision open to interpretation, but a clear example of officiating failure, where due diligence and discernment were entirely absent . Thankfully ' the justice was served at the penalty was missed .
