Here’s a new book by an author who’s new to me: The Smiling Man by Joseph Knox. Not a book I’ll forget in a hurry, and irritatingly, I think I’m going to have to buy his other books too!

I am nearly finished with this one. Waits just wrapped up the case and is going after Bateman. I really enjoyed this. Aiden is a flawed character but somewhat relatable. Sutcliffe helps to show how much worse Waits could actually be. I hope my local library has "Sirens" when I return this.

I'm very late to the game, but I've read this and the first one, Sirens, they're both very good books and had me turning the page to see what happened. I'm currently reading the third book in the series and so far so good.
