I heard it through a friend that work on the show that Eugene and Sasha was quote "Undead" in the last days of shooting she said that it was shot in a closed set

Eugene is safe because Negan finds him to be very useful mainly because he knows how to make bullets, Negan will want him to produce ammo for them.

I am not worried about Eugene. He finally stepped up and said he could make bullets to get Rosita and ASZ off the hook. If he is valuable, he will be kept around for a while.
