Demon Slayer Infinity Castle Announcement in December?

Kimetsu always uses Jump Festa for like promoting their related products or having the VAs talk on stage. Mind you, the Red Stage is THE big stage. Blue is still big but it's like a step down from the Red so the first time I saw Kimetsu moved from Red to Blue it kinda irked me lol. Though understandably they don't really do much with it. Pretty sure whenever Jump Festa happens they've already announced and released trailers for the upcoming season anyway. Will they give us another 12/10 Promo Reel? Who knows. We're in a different place now with the series now than before.

And those stages are literally where so many series get their big announcements, so it's understandable why fans expect something out of it. But people need to realize that Kimetsu can't just simply be lumped in with any other anime series. It's entirely nonstandard - no other series is doing the things Kimetsu does. We literally have TV and radio shows for just announcing things and send the VAs around the world for events. Like the marketing for this show is on another level because the show itself is on another level.

One thing I'd like to point out is that the Kimetsu franchise is doing an exhibition "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" Pillar Exhibition - And to the Infinity Castle" (so very similar to the recap movie concepts of "To the Swordsmith Village/Hashira Training") that's lasting from November 2, 2024 to March 2, 2025. I do believe then that this is a good indicator of the first IC movie being released in Spring following the end of that exhibit. And I don't think production time is really something to worry about. One IC Movie's runtime is equal to half that of a season, which they consistently put one season out every year. Does IC warrant more time? Of course, but ufotable seems to be really far ahead considering they completed HTA's Episode 1 in 2022 despite it airing in 2024. IMO, the biggest factor in wait times between seasons/movies is simply just marketing.

In terms of the international release, I think the fact that both the Japanese and International trailers were released at the same time, and also that Sony already has the rights and advertised it, is a REALLY strong indicator of a global simultaneous release. I think the recap movies and the world tour thing was their way of setting up relations with theaters around the world for the future IC movies. Even just a 1-2 week delay should be fine.

2. I keep seeing how they’re going to animate the rengoku manga special on insta and such. Your thoughts?

I read that the ic trilogy will air in August of 2025. It wasn't an official japanese source or anything, but an anime magazine. It's very odd and suspicious, but I feel like it could be possible. Especially when they air it at the end of August.

Didn't Ufotable already air the last episodes of hta in japanese movie theaters?
Do you think they would show it in japan twice or leave japan out and only show it in other countries if they really planned a "to the infinity castle" tour?
