I am sure I was at this show. The first time I saw Eric was at Rockefellers in 1982. I was so blown away I decided to go to college instead of pursuing a music career. He used to have an 8:00PM show that wouldn't start until about 9:30 and the 11:00PM show didn't start till about midnight. He was so raw back then. I feel privileged to have seen him back then.

Thank you, EJ’s tone in that era was amazing with the Dumble, Fender & Marshall set up. This has to be one of the earliest shows with Tommy on drums. Great bass solo by Rob Alexander- very Jaco -esque.

Hey, why did EJ live at the Bottom Line 1989 video get removed. I really like that vid and listen to it everyday but it's gone😭

This was back before he had his Chandler Tube Driver and was using a Tube Screamer for his lead Marshall tone. You can hear how the Tube Driver took his lead sound to a whole other level of Violin Tone later on. 🔥
