Perry and Trips punishments were probably better for them considering that Perry had a boring ass character beforehand and Triple H ended up developing more throughout 1996.

The curtain call incident was very respectful to his guys, and Triple H took the bad times which made him into an absolute icon afterwards 😎

Vince didn't know what to do with ECW stars anyways, he was hung up on cartoon gimmicks not regular guys. Perry Saturn could have had a big money draw run against Bret Hart because they were both technical wrestlers. I know the undertaker will always back Vince but his claim that WCW or ECW stars were not intentionally buried doesn't hold water.
