Parks and Recreation | Ron Takes the Fun Out of the Summer Barbecue

Ron Swanson (Nick Offerman) finds himself in a tough position as he steps in for Leslie Knope to oversee the summer employee appreciation BBQ. However, Ron's plans hit a snag when he's informed that he cannot slaughter a live pig for the event, causing a delay in starting the cookout. As the hungry guests grow increasingly impatient, Ron's frustration reaches a boiling point, leading to an outburst that sends him on an angry rampage. (Season 5 Episode 1).

Synopsis: Small-town civil servant Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler) is tireless in her ambition to lead and make her quintessentially American town of Pawnee, Indiana just a little more fun; with an abundance of idea binders, heaps of diner waffles and the stalwart help of fellow employees, Leslie bushwhacks through bureaucracy to make Pawnee a better place.
