This totally blew me away, can't understand why Will didn't turn for this guy... It's everything you want in a voice: tenderness, strength, sincerity and pitch-perfect control. With the right choice of songs this Vangelis could well end up winning this season...!!

I have watched this audition over and over again. I always loved Culture Club and I think that Boy George was honestly moved by your rendition of the song. Beautiful voice!!

It was brave for Vangelis (Greek Prince) to sing one of BG's Grammy-winning songs (the good old days). I absolutely loved his cover. The expression on his face when BG turned 1st was so photogenic and priceless. Like some of the judges, I, too, felt the sudden rush of *the chills* when he hit his falsetto-those two other chairs just came spinning around. I assume he chose The Boy.

Just had to watch the video another 7 times. What is so remarkable, is that this is the most difficult task - singing a song in front of the composer, a song that was a global no.1 hit in a slightly different version, and then get this emotional REACTION from Boy George - first he is surprised, then likes "how can I be with you", then he is touched by "precious kisses....", then he has to take a deep breath "if it is love you want from me...", finally a standing ovation. Vangelis has "killed" this song...it was the first time I heard it and felt its meaning. Simply outstanding - and in my view a turning point in the show, where we see many artists trying very hard without getting to the heart, and here comes someone fairly inexperienced who effortlessly goes straight to our hearts - brilliant.
