Wow brought back memories. I had a first gen Viper and a first gen Caravan lol. The Viper was a lot of fun and all (until you had to replace those rear tires every 5k miles) but we drove all over the country in that minivan and when we sold it it had almost 200k miles. Great vehicle

I didn’t need to watch the rest of the video. Our lifelong quest was fulfilled. Our answer was found. 1996 GTS from Gran Turismo 1, best Viper all time forever time. But I’ll watch the rest because I love RCR almost as much as I love Dodge Vipers.

The 3.3L was standard on the Grand Caravan/Voyager but was optional on the Short Wheelbase vans from 1990 to 1994. So that's probably the original engine (or a replacement for the original engine and not a swap). SWB vans had the 2.5L 4 cylinder for a base engine and the 3.0 6G72 Mitsu engine and 3.3L Pushrod were both optional.

Just like Doug Demuro is the human embodiment of his favourite car, the Mercedes station wagon. He's dorky, filled with unnecessary space (the useless facts in Doug's head) and is compensating for something.

As a kid who’s car knowledge came mostly from midnight club 3 dub edition, it was a sad day when I found out all vipers didn’t look like it did in the game. Believe it was the Dodge Viper gts-r concept.
