Ben Carson, I saw as a hero when I read his autobiography years ago. He was the graduation speaker for Mount Sinai School of Medicine in the mid-late 1990s. Then, he went and joined Trump’s administration, and most troubling was the way he spoke as if he has dementia. So sad.

So I saw a headline about this traitor. That said “ From Poverty to Neorosurgeon.” This is right after I read a self- bio that started out declaring Ben Carson family bought a brand new home in Detroit just in time for Ben Carson birth. So if we are to believe Ben Carsons story we are to believe in the 1950s you could buy a home even if your family was POOR living in poverty.

Mr. Carson, as the director of HUD, permitted a lump sum 30% rent increase in housing rents. Considering his childhood, I would expect him to have more compassion. Shame on him!

I as a newly Retired nurse, I Do not believe Him to have Dementia as one has stated in comments here. As one who has met him privately...I just do not think he would speak publicly if he ever even was close to Dementia without it being his last speach & announcing this as a fact. 🤔 I have heard him speak in 2022, & he was right on point with topics.
